U.S. Veterans By The Numbers
Veterans Day, which is observed each year on November 11, is an opportunity to not just think of those who perished in times of war, but to thank those veterans who are still alive today. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, that accounts for more than 18 million Americans, the majority of whom served during the Gulf War and are members of the U.S. Army.
