Choosing a Residential Flagpole For Your House
When it's time to replace your house mounted flag pole, Gettysburg Flag Works can help! We carry a wide variety of flagpoles for houses, including wooden flagpoles, aluminum flagpoles, fiberglass flagpoles and more. Aluminum House Mounted Flagpoles
If you're looking for a house mounted home flagpole, we recommend our for either grommets or a sleeved flag because its the best performer in our line up. The poles come with a clip for a sleeve style flag built right into the top of the pole. The poles also include clear plastic ring attachments for grommeted style flags. These rotating aluminum flagpoles don't rust, rot or warp (we call them "Worry-Free") and come in white, silver or wood grain colors.
Other options for house mounted flag poles include our fiberglass flagpoles or wooden flagpoles. These poles may not come with attachments to hook up your flag, so we offer a variety of spinning ring attachments and NeverFurl options. Fiberglass House Flagpoles
Our fiberglass flagpoles for houses are durable, single piece poles featuring a wooden top. They come in multiple sizes, a couple of colors, and they are affordably priced. As mentioned, they don't come with unfurl devices or ring attachments, so you will have to purchase those separately. You can find more details about our fiberglass house mounted flagpoles here.
Wooden Flag Poles for Houses
Wooden residential flagpoles are beautiful and traditional looking. We offer wooden flag poles in 5, 6 and 8 feet long in 1 inch or 15/16" diameter. Many people still use a wooden flag pole but if you are looking for something more durable with the wooden 'vibe,' the aluminum spinning flagpole above might be a great option for you. Our 5 and 6 foot spinning flag poles for home are available in a beautiful faux wood finish, and they will not warp, rust or rot. You will not need to revarnish it either!
When ordering your new wooden flagpole, be sure to get all of the parts that you need to display your flag or banner. Wooden flag poles don't typically come with the rings or attachments needed for mountain your house flag. For mounting grommeted flags onto wooden flag poles, you will need grommet rings. To mount a sleeved flag to a wooden flag pole, we recommend a Never Furl kit or a pole ring with unfurling action.
Rail Mounted Flagpoles for Homes
If a wall-mounted flagpole won't quite work for your home, a rail mount flagpole is another great option to consider. This type of bracketed flagpole works great on wrought iron, aluminum, or wood fences or railings. They are great options for balconies, especially for ground-level condo's and apartments, and they also work well for boats and RVs. You can learn more about these rail mount flagpole kits here.
House Flagpole Hardware
As mentioned previously, there are a number of accessories you may need to get your residential flagpole up and running. Some of the key home flagpole accessories include:
Pole Rings: These accessories enable you to add a grommeted flag to your pole but do not offer non-tangle features.
Never Furl Kit: This kit enables you to fly your flag without having to worry that the wind will wrap your flag around your residential flagpole. The Never Furl kit is easy to install and comes complete with everything needed, including instructions and detailed drawings.
Unfurl Tube Non-Tangle Device: This device is a clear plastic tube that can be attached to a residential flag pole to ensure that the flag spins freely around and around. Flag attaches using re-usable ties to the tube which rolls around the pole with the wind.
Clear Ring Attachment: These rings attached grommeted flag to residential flagpoles. They hold the flag in place, but do not allow the flag to unwrap or unfurl automatically.
