Dating back to their use in processionals during medieval times, these ceremonial banners are typically mounted on a sleek wooden crossbar on a 7-9’ flagpole using a brass hook and eye system. Once mounted to the gonfalon flag pole, the banner can then be displayed in academic offices using a floor stand, or carried by honored students and faculty during a commencement processional. The Gonfalon Banner Kit Size Recommendations

Choose from various sizes in an oak style finish. Take a peak at the 1” diameter wooden crossbar and 1.25” diameter dark oak finish poles! All of our kits include the brass hook and eye needed for mounting the two poles together, the brass acorn ends for the crossbar, a 7” gold staff spear finial as well as the gold cord and tassel and a shiny gold elite floor stand! Crossbars are available in a variety of lengths to fit most banners.

• Length Options - You can choose from a range of lengths from 8' to 12'. This gives you the options you need for any application possible!
• Pole sleeve attachment capability - Usually best for indoor poles where a pole sleeve and tab attachment is necessary.

PLEASE NOTE: that your gonfalon banner will require a button hole or other type of opening in the center of the back of the pole sleeve to accommodate the hardware that holds the 2 poles together.
