Revolutionary era American flag, also known as Fort Mifflin Flag. This flag is noted for its 13 distinctive alternating red-white-blue stripes. It is among the first continental flags to be used in the war and remained standing through some 6 weeks of harsh British bombardment in the Fall of 1777.
