Four Freedoms U.N. Honor Flag

This flag was designed and used by those seeking to form a coalition of United Nations during the post WWII era. While considered, the flag was never officially adopted by the United Nations. Each bar on the flag stands for one of the four freedoms outlined by F.D.R. in his famous 1941 speech to Congress: freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want and freedom from fear.
