The Historical Hulbert Flag, named after American patriot soldier John Hulbert, rumored to have flown during Revolutionary War during Ticonderoga and Lake Champlain 1775 actions. While its exact date of construction can not be determined it is univerally considered an early example of American Flag design with 13 six pointed stars and 13 stripes. The original flag was discovered only in 1926 in the attic of Hulbert's former home on Long Island.
