For a more heavy-duty Illinois flag, choose the heavy-weight polyester flag. The heavy duty polyester requires more wind to fly, but also lasts longer. Just received it! I'm a flag collector so I'm fairly well versed in what I'm looking for. This is my first flag from Gettysburg, I have flags of various designs from competitors both domestic and international. The flag arrived really quickly. The stitching is high-quality, the thread is sturdy, and I'm impressed with the nylon-- it's lightweight (good for catching wind) but it's very high quality. It also came in a box (I believe an industry standard size) which makes it easy for me to store and alphabetise. I'll definitely be purchasing more flags from Gettysburg in the future.
