Our black mourning streamer is the perfect way to show your respect during times of mourning. If you cannot lower your flag to half staff, flying a mourning ribbon alongside your flag is the proper thing to do.
Our mourning ribbon is made of 100% nylon. Featuring a brass grommet, it attaches easily to a variety of flags and flagpoles - including American flags and residential wall or post mount flagpoles.

- Just what I was looking for . . .Needed this in a hurry and when I ordered it on Christmas, asked if it could possibly be shipped the next day—it was, and arrived two days later. - Pay our respect to the flag, whatever size and mounting!The flag is a great symbol of our country, our land, and our freedom. I am proud to fly the flag and I have a number of people who receive an e-mail from me when we respectfully drop the flag to half-mast for multiple well-deserved reasons. I found that a number of my friends had the “45 degree” flags and they asked me, “What do we do”. After discovering the “Black Mourning Ribbon” I have been happy to give them a method to show the proper respect. Currently, whenever I discover someone who needs one I donate one to them, individual, shop owner, organization, or business. I have been buying three at a time so I always have one on hand to “pass along my respect to our flag being displayed by many!”

- Thank youI flew the Black Mourning Banner on my 2.5 X 4 foot outside wall American Flag. As directed, I only left it flying from Sunrise to noon time.
I never had a US Flag and being a US Army Veteran of 3 years in the late 1960s. I served as a Communications Operator and then a Nevada State Trooper for 6 years..
I ordered a Black Mourning Banner for a elderly woman and explained the information supplied by your company concerning Flag display.

- Donating RibbonMy local Post Office has a short flag pole on the roof. When trying to post at half-staff the flag would be laying on the roof. The local postmaster thought it was more disrespectful to the flag if laying on the roof, I agree. I purchased the Ribbon and donated it to my post office. The postmaster was grateful, now my flag will be treated properly & correctly.

- Good job!The two black mourning ribbons I purchased came exactly as described. They are now hanging on two flags in our church through December 30, 2018 to honor GHW Bush, our 41st President. I dare say our church might be the only church in the larger area to display such flags, as it seems as if few people understand the traditions and directions of the US Code for displaying our Nation's Symbol.
