I'm hanging my flag all day long against my building under relentless SoCal sunlight and halogen lights through the night. I'd like the darkest, truest, rich colors to last as long as possible before I replace it. Do I choose Battle-Tough nylon?
Yes! we would suggest the Battle-Tough Nylon Flag.

I a fly 4x6 size flag. When I find a flag that does not fade, the wind and weather seem to shed it up. I have a flag now that has held up well, but it has faded very bad. What do you recommend for a flag that will be durable, yet not fade? I fly this flag every day.
Hello! You are on the right page! For that scenario, we would definitely recommend the Battle-Tough Nylon flag. The colors are bold and vibrant and hold up very well, while also having heavier duty X box stitching to hold up in winds. We think you will be very happy with this flag. Check out the reviews as well.
Mike Hernandez asks
What wind speed will your flag tolerate?
Flags are not rated for any particular wind speed. If you are in a very windy area, we do recommend a polyester flag over nylon. If you are in an extremely windy area, the life span of your flag will be shorter no matter the material.

Maureen Lang asks
Are your stars stitched/embroidered or printed?
Hello: The stars are embroidered!

We live in Palm Coast Fl and we get some serious weather here so I have gone thru 5 flags in 6 years do you have a warranty? We typically purchase 3x5.
Hi! Thanks for reaching out! We do not offer a warranty on the flags. Industry standard for the life time of a flag is 6-12 months (U.S. government states about 90 days). We find most customers get a couple of years out of flags but it does depend on conditions.
Lucille Koch asks
I live in a 6th floor penthouse and the terrace can get very windy. I wanted to attach the flag to the outside wall. How would I go about doing that with one of your flags. Thanks
Hi! Our wall mounted flag poles can be found here: https://www.gettysburgflag.com/flagpoles/wall-or-post-mount
We assume you should be able to use one of these poles but would suggest a heavy duty option to account for the winds. Feel free to give us a call at 1-888-697-3524 and we can discuss options.
Gettysburg Flag asks
What sizes are available for American flags?
Our Battle-Tough American flag comes in a lot of size variations. The most common size is the 3x5’ option, but we make it all the way up to the 6x10’ size. Other flags like our All-weather Nylon, have a few extra sizes on both ends of the spectrum (smaller and larger) for you to enjoy!
Nick Lydon asks
How do I properly care for and clean my American flag?
We recommend a hand wash with a soft detergent or dish soap. If your washer machine has a light setting, that may be acceptable. For more specific details, feel free to give us a call at 1-888-697-3524. Flags do tend to get dirty and will eventually decay due to the elements outdoors. It’s our goal to give you the longest lasting American flag we can so you can enjoy your flag all year long.
