About the Air Force Flag Design
The United States Air Force flag is blue with a special symbol in the middle. The symbol shows a white star with a red dot inside it, surrounded by a gold circle and wings. This represents the Air Force flying high in the sky to protect our country. The flag’s blue color stands for the sky where the Air Force works. This flag is important because it helps us remember the brave work of the Air Force pilots and their teams.

Gettysburg Flag asks Jul 10, 2024
How long will this flag last?
Gettysburg Flag answers Jul 11, 2024
While we can't exactly guarantee the Air Force flag's lifespan due to the different weather it can face across the U.S., we do see that our flags last anywhere from 8-18 months on average. Some people are able to get up to 3 years of use as well, but it all depends on time flying and weather conditions overtime!

What is the difference between Nylon and Polyester?
Gettysburg Flag answers Jul 11, 2024
There are a few main differences between the two materials for the Official Air Force flag. Nylon is the lighter weight option, so flying it is typically easier than polyester, which will require heavier wind to fly! Polyester typically fades in the sun faster than Nylon will. Beyond that, they are both great options to choose between! If you aren't sure which material is best for your application give us a call. We would be happy to help!

What does digitally printed mean?
Gettysburg Flag answers Jul 11, 2024
A digitally printed flag is the process that a lot of our flags are made with. It requires a commercial grade printer to print out designs on an industrial sized paper to be heat transferred into the fabric itself! It's the most reliable way to create deeply ingrained fabric coloring that will last a really long time!

- Nice But Double Reverse Would be BetterQuality100%Value80%The flag is as advertised and is of good quality. I wish you offered it in a double reverse so that the printing could be read correctly from either side. I would have paid more for that version.
