Our take on the iconic White Plains Liberty Flag. Historical reference to this flag shows most commonly a red background color but other records indicate the background color to be white or off white cotton. The messaging on this flag is distinctive in its mantra of 'Liberty or Death', with the backwards “a” lending a memorable caveat found on some variations of the original. The sword and “Liberty” cap were symbols to express the desire and willingness to fight for independence from England.
