It includes our top of the line Battle-Tough® American Flag already fastened to a 6' white aluminum spinning pole. Also included is a 2 position bracket to mount your flag. How do I make sure the flag won't get tangled on the pole?
This flag set is actually made with a special spinning pole that won't allow for the flag to get tangled on the pole for more than two gusts of wind. The top section of the pole will turn any way the flag blows, so strong gusts of wind will carry the flag right back down to its original resting place!

This flag set is called "worry free" because we've collected everything you need to mount this flag and pole all in one package for you to easily set up. You don't have to worry about finding all the materials and adding them to your cart because we did that for you!

I don't understand what the black ribbon is for
The black mourning ribbon is used to signify when the US flag is lowered to half staff. Since house mounted poles aren't able to lower half way, the ribbon is used to signify observance of the period of mourning.

- Nice American FlagI bought the super set and am very happy with everything. The flag does not tangle and the hardware was easy to install. When I ordered it, there was a message that it could take 2 days to ship. It shipped the very next day. After shipping it arrived in 2 days with regular shipping. It was a little more expensive than other flags, but you can see the difference and it is worth it. To top it off it was made in the USA as all American flags should be. I am very happy.
